We were given two trial lessons for our toddler children, which was great. The instructor at the first lesson this past Tuesday evening was good and the staff member (woman with shorter hair) was helpful and friendly. We did our trial lesson with our children tonight and the instructor was ok but seemed a little impatient. The main reason I am giving this place a one star is the woman named Freddie who works at the front (customer service). We were looking into signing our children up for lessons tonight, however Freddies attitude and rude response to questions I was asking regarding fees/payments made us decide we didn't want to take lessons with Big Blue Swim School. I got the name and of the general manager to contact regarding her extremely poor customer service and I let her know that she has an attitude and needs to work on it. The general manager Matt did contact me after this employee, Freddie, had contacted him all upset after our interaction and she felt she was cordial and didn't do anything wrong. I did appreciate that Matt reached out to me. He let me know he would review the recording/footage between her and I with her to focus on what she could work on-so he had not

I tried Big Blue Swim School for my son who was new to swim classes and still somewhat afraid of the water. In his very first class, he was told to jump in and start swimming with a kickboard. There was very little guidance from the instructor. After his FIRST CLASS, the front desk told me that my son may not be a good fit for group classes because the instructor had to be too hands on. They told me I could finish the rest of the classes in his trial package then I would need to switch to private lessons. This "school" is an absolute joke. They don't want to teach swimming fundamentals. They just throw your child in and hope they immediately swim. I moved on to a much better swim school that starts with a water test to determine class level and teaches core swimming fundamentals in group settings. I don't recommend Big Blue for swim lessons at all.

Big Blue has the best swim instructors that love our kids. My baby has learned so much and loves the water because of how much fun she has.

This swim school provides an excellent environment with outstanding staff and top-quality classes. The facilities are always clean and fully functional, and the team is readily available in person, by phone, or via textβ€”always kind and professional. The classes are exceptional; they gently encourage our child to step out of his comfort zone in a safe and age-appropriate way. We couldn’t be happier with our experience here.
